ABOUT THE BOOK
Isabella Rose is on the run, hunted by the very people she had been hired to work for. Trained killer Isabella and former handler Michael Pope are forced into hiding in India and, when a mysterious informer passes them clues on the whereabouts of Pope’s family, the prey see an opportunity to become the predators. Chased from the poverty of Mumbai’s slums into the sights of a sniper’s rifle amongst the lavish wealth of Shanghai, Isabella and Pope hunt fleeting shadows in a race against time. And they can’t afford to lose. The Agent is the third part in a continuing story involving Isabella Rose that also includes The Angel and The Asset.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Mark Dawson was born in Lowestoft and grew up in Manchester and Chicago. He has worked as a lawyer and currently works in the London film industry. His first books, “The Art of Falling Apart” and “Subpoena Colada” have been published in multiple languages.
He is currently writing two series. Soho Noir is set in the West End of London between 1940 and 1970. The first book in the series, “The Black Mile”, deals with the (real life but little known) serial killer who operated in the area during the Blitz. “The Imposter” traces the journey of a criminal family (think The Sopranos in austerity London and you’d be on the right track).
The John Milton series features a disgruntled special agent who aims to help people to make amends for the terrible things that he has done. Mark, as a child of the 80s, will freely admit that he watched a lot of The Equalizer in his youth.
Mark lives in Wiltshire, England with his family.

Napoleon Ryan is a skilled comedy screen actor from England. He tends to play naive opportunists and the hapless, quirky everyman who gets sucked into situations beyond his control.
In ‘The Black Hole’, a short film that has won multiple awards internationally, his character managed to create a breach in the space-time continuum while doing some late night photocopying.
Amongst others he has worked on industrial and advertising campaigns for major brands and companies such as Volkswagen, Sony, IKEA, Twix, Ladbrokes and Nescafe.
As well as stints in London and the West End in family favorite ‘The Gruffalo’, his theatre work has included national tours of Britain, Spain, Ireland and Italy plus collaboration with Academy Award Winner Sir Tim Rice on the London revival of his medieval musical ‘Blondel’.
He writes and produces his own short films and sketches for the Internet and composes classical music on his trombone.
