Listeners may feel like they’re listening to a classic Christmas special as they hear Johnny Heller’s narration. Some of the dialogue is stilted, and there’s a battle with some wicked creatures who don’t like happiness, but overall the storytelling is genial and relaxed. Most of the audiobook is devoted to “The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus,” but the shorter “Kidnapped Santa Claus” is also included. It might not be the definitive Santa bio, but it’s entertaining.
