Summary
Regarded as one of the greatest actors on both stage and screen, the internationally acclaimed and award-winning Jonathan Pryce brings larger-than-life characters to life, in the much-loved classic Oliver Twist. The young orphan escapes miserable servitude and mistreatment at a dreary English workhouse and heads to London. Here he meets the Artful Dodger, a high-ranking member of a juvenile pickpocketing gang, and their elderly leader, Fagin and unwittingly gets swept up in a life of crime. Exposing the cruel and inhumane treatment of orphans in 19th Century England, Oliver Twist is one of the most significant social novels of all time.
