Moby-Dick (1956) Lossless Remux, Twilight Time & Studiocanal Blu-rays torrent

Includes both blu-ray releases and old DVD rip, with comparisons and screenshots of stills gallery from each release.

The TV/DVD version (4:3 aspect ratio) shows how the movie looked prior to the Blu-ray restorations. However, the original movie was supposed to appear desaturated and aged, keeping with the look of pictorial whaling books from New England. The StudioCanal version tried to take the existing HD scan (used on HD TV channels the last few years) and approximate the original desaturation. Twilight Time tried to take the best negative copies available and manually reconstruct the entire movie to achieve the original desaturation. StudioCanal's version has more film grain and a little more detail, but Twilight Time's should be considered to have the definitive color grading.
