There was a Canadian pop band in the early-mid 1970s called Chester. They are best remembered for their one radio hit - Make My Life A Little Bit Brighter (Aug 1973 #10). The rest of their records didn't chart. A band member named Jim Mancel had a brilliant 1975 single called "Let The Phone Ring," though it didn't chart. any higher than #77. It features Dr. Music, Doug Riley on Fender Rhodes. That it winds up on their CD compilation from 2005, makes it worth the price of admission. The sound is flawless, but all the tracks have been remixed, so they don't sound like the records. I've put in a bonus track of the original stereo mix of "Make My Life..." at the end
