Why AV1?
Simple no brainer. Less file size for same bitrate as HEVC encode. If u have a machine that is modern and isn't legacy, you should be able to run it. Works best with VLC, MPC-HC, MPV, Plex, Jellyfin, etc.

Why Opus? :
In my opinion this is a great codec to use for audio encoding. Amazing audio quality from my testing, and it meets my bar for file size to quality ratio to where it is worth encoding it in more than something like AAC or AC3. Also compatibility seems to be great too.
