The fourth and last (in the 70s) album of the American group. As a sign of reconciliation (with each other, anyway), both Franks, Ferrara and Glicken, decided to bring back ousted drummer Tony Dilorio as new manager and secure more studio time in 1973 to record a new album, which would simply be called “Music.” Unfortunately, Capitol Records had already turned their back on the band and Bang set about mutilating their original musical vision (short power-pop tunes, barely touching hard rock at all). Ultimately, their sound began to sound more like Big Star than Black Sabbath. Capitol's patience ran out and they finally broke off relations with the group. After that, the members of Bang scattered among various projects, but surprisingly reunited in 1996, releasing a new album, Return To Zero, chock-full of good old hard. But that is another story…
