02 - The Tower on the Rift
Thurkad has fallen and Karan, driven into madness by a forbidden spell, is left for dead.
Her dearest friend, Llian the Tale-spinner, is abducted by the renegade Aachim leader, Tensor, who plans to use the Twisted Mirror for an act of millennial vengeance. And he knows how to take advantage of Llian’s fatal weakness – his hunger for his own Great Tale.
But Karan is determined to recover and rescue Llian, and the stolen mirror must be retaken. Allies and enemies pursue Tensor across the pitiless desert of the Dry Sea to Katazza, a lost fortress of power built over the earth-shattering Rift. There, proscribed magics will drive a desperate man to a monumental folly – and the Twisted Mirror will unleash forces that could change the fate of three worlds.
Now the allies’ only hope lies in Karan pulling off one of the greatest feats of all time – assuming she can fight off the madness that curses her family.
03 - Dark is the Moon
Rulke the Great Betrayer has escaped from the Nightland, his prison for the last thousand years.
And he has a weapon no one has ever seen before – a massive, magic-powered iron construct. As he amasses a conquering army the other age-old wizards scatter in urgent quests, for the only way to defeat Rulke is to rediscover long-lost spells banned during the Forbidding.
Llian the Tale-spinner, desperate to create a new Great Tale, falls into Rulke’s trap and becomes an unwitting spy against all who have befriended him. Then Karan, tormented triune daughter of three different human species, discovers her beloved homeland has become the centre of a sorcerous vortex.

And the ultimate clash of an aeons-long war erupts. As alien lords battle Rulke to gain control of the Way Between the Worlds, and abominations from the Void ravage the land, can Mendark and Yggur overcome their mutual hatred and stand together to seal the Way?
In this final hour, will Karan find the courage to make the ultimate sacrifice – one that must lead to a hideous death?
