This story was inspired by the book Short Stories and Tall Tales and the short story "The Librarian." It was then expanded into a Kindle Vella serial story. I wrote one short episode at a time; it was then titled The Reluctant Time Traveler. It wasn't long before I knew the rest of the story needed to be told in Time Immortal: Maximus!
