War veteran Jack Starks Persian Gulf, is recovering after being wounded in the head. He returned to his native Vermont, but the injury has an effect bouts of amnesia. When Starks is accused of killing a policeman, he was sent for psychiatric examination. Dr. Becker uses an experimental treatment, introducing the newest medicines Starks. After injection Starks put a straitjacket and placed in the basement. In narcotic intoxication thought Starks rush into the future where he meets Jackie, and learns that he left to live for 4 days. Together to Jackie, he seeks to escape his fate.
