This torrent contains the 2 best seasons of James Burke's documentary series.
I have compressed them down to 152-172 MB with no significant loss of quality given that they began as standard def television in 1978 and 1985. Day The Universe Changed has English subtitles. Also, AFAIK, these are full-length, not the cut-up-for-US-commercial-breaks versions.

After several years' hiatus, he made a few other seasons that are not bad, but these are outstanding. It is a surprise that this is not more actively shared given that there is not jack squat on TV right now.

If you like these docus, have a look around for the documentaries of Jacob Bronowski and Kenneth Clark...competitors is not quite the right word, but they worked and were brilliant at about the same time or a tad earlier.
