Personal note—Because this was a real-time recording, I listened to much of it over several day while doing my work. It is often fascinating, from his World War I experience, was wounded at the Battle of the Somme, to his time at Oxford and the number of well-know acquaintances who’s names you will recognize. He was not a humble man. Joel Schrank does an excellent job. As if he was Graves sitting with you and reminiscing.
