This is the first in a series of releases of disks that were purchased for me for the express purpose of capturing them. This title was considered the number one priority.

The title, and the LD jacket, did not inspire confidence. It reeked of cutsey bullshit for tykes, and while I will accept cutesy bullshit for tykes in magical girl form, I’m not so keen on other forms.

I was wrong. This movie is actually kinda dark. Its about a penguin who suffers PTSD from seeing some shit in totally-not-Vietnam, comes home wounded, finds himself alienated from society, the works.

So don’t judge the book by its cover in this case, yeah?
