Back in my pre-digital Lupin Gang Anime days, I obtained the laserdiscs for this, because I liked the art on the jackets and had an interest in ancient Japan. I watched it, and decided againt subtitling it. It just doesn’t quite float my boat. It isn’t serious enough, and at the same time isn’t silly enough. I’m more into something like Genji Part 1 or Utsunomiko. I’m sure Izumo is decent, it just wasn’t something I wanted to use resources working on myself. I wound up selling the disks to help pay for classes. But now, thanks to Orphan, they’ve found their way back to me! And now, you can judge for yourself!

BTW, Orphan needs help with translation and translation checking and stuff: https://collectr.blogspot.com/2016/05/backlogged.html is their current status post.

I have included unfiltered high-bitrate DVD conversions in addition to the filtered x264 versions.
