I’m pretty sure this is just the first few episodes of the original 1979 series in compressed compilation form. I haven’t seen the original series beyond a few clips on Youtube. The original Anne of Green Gables TV series has been reissued on Bluray, so some ambitious sort could probably re-assemble this movie from that source, unless there’s new material.

Video quality is pretty good on this one. There was some occasional minor jitter I didn’t consider worth correcting for.

Unfiltered high bitrate DVD conversion included for archival purposes.
