Some of you may be familiar with this story thanks to its dubbed version, Dracula: Sovereign of the Damned, which was a Harmony Gold dub of this 1980′s Toei Animation tv movie. The anime itself is based on an old Marvel comic by the name of The Tomb of Dracula, and it tries to sum up years of comic plot into an hour and half. Amazingly enough, it is quite true to the comic’s storyline – save for some details like the lack of rollercoasters and the addition of hamburgers.
