The battle against GigantiBridge over, Takatora makes good on his declaration to return to Kagoshima. The Itsutsubashi Brothers stay in Kyoto and reveal the origin of their disagreement with Takatora. After learning that their compatibility rate with Takatora is an extreme rarity, Hayato heads to Kagoshima to see if he might be able to patch things up. Meanwhile, Commander Izumi's team has traced the origin of the enemy transmission to Kagoshima's volcano, Sakurajima... and the Agents are none too pleased that the Shinkalion team is on their doorstep.

Notes:
The Kinmon Incident is a famous historical incident that involved the Choshu Clan rebelling against the Tokugawa Shogunate in Kyoto, and the Satsuma Clan assisting in repelling them. Choshu and Satsuma are historical rivals, but the Tosa Domain, now called Kochi, and the famous Ryoma Sakamoto, historically brokered peace between the Imperial-leaning Choshu and the Shogun supporting Satsuma. Naturally, as a self-described History Woman, Sakura knows all about it.

Hayato tells his mother he's eating "cultured" food, meaning aquaculture seafood. Sakura misunderstands it with a homonym word that sounds exactly alike, which means "Western" food. Chinese vegetables and French omelets are typically cooked in oil, and so perhaps not as healthy as Japanese vegetables, which is what she's asking him about. I went with "cultural" food for a way to preserve the misunderstanding.
