Anna B. è un'attrice con una carriera avviata, un film da girare in Corea e una dannata paura di volare. L'aviofobia, ereditata dal padre come una malattia, ha condizionato la sua vita, la relazione con la figlia che vuole volare a Stanford e con la sua agente che vuole 'spedirla' oltre i confini della fiction nazionale. Abortito l'ultimo volo, (si) è costretta a terra e ai piccoli compromessi delle cose terrene. Ma capirà molto presto che giù dallo schermo non ci sono controfigure e qualche volta tocca buttarsi. Decide allora di iscriversi a un corso per aggirare le sue strategie di evitamento. Uno stage antistress per accendere i motori e finalmente decollare.
