"escape" is the second single released by Ito Kanako and first major release. The title track was used as the "Tsumihoroboshi-hen" ending theme for the PS2 game Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Matsuri. The single reached #77 on the Oricon charts, and charted for seven weeks, selling 8,316 copies.
