Gotou Yuuko is easily more famous for her voice-acting work than her music. Fans of the Lucky Star anime may remember the episode that poked fun at the contrast between her typical anime roles and her personal lifestyle, particularly with her interest in biker culture (i.e. the bousouzoku culture)—something that’s never associated with women in Japanese culture.

This album reinforces Gotou’s connection with her anime work as it is a cover album of songs from anime such as Saint Seiya, Fist of the North Star, City Hunter, and others. Enjoy!
