Storyline:


Davy Crockett and his pal George Russel (Buddy Ebsen) volunteer to fight in the Creek Indian war. Russel gets captured, but Crockett does what it takes to save his friend. After the wars, Crockett runs a successful political campaign to become a congressman and takes his rough-hewn ways to the House of Representatives. It isn't long however, before the Texas Revolution calls him to fight again and he makes his last stand at the Alamo.
