[Orphan] Tengai Makyou (DVD) torrent

Orphan's 300th release, and our first of 2023, the first English version of the 1990 OVA Tengai Makyou: Ziria Oboro Hen (Far East of Eden: Ziria's Dreamlike Chapter). Based on the first game in the popular RPG and fighting game franchise, Tengai Makyou tells the story of the spectacularly gifted thief Zira and his friends fighting the fiendish plot of the demon lord Jarishinsai. (What other kind of plot would a demon lord have, anyway?) Jarinshai wants to revive an ancient machine soldier to wreak havoc on all of Zipang (fictional Japan). Ziria must fight the villains, romance the imperiled princess, Yukihime, and have a rollicking good time saving the country from devastation. R2J DVD encode; the DVD was included in a limited edition rerelease of the original game. This show is a complete hoot, and I highly recommend it. For more information, see this blog entry.
