At last, the Oden flashback begins!! We'll try to get these out at a slightly faster pace than roughly once every year and half though... Good news is, the next six episodes have all had at least some work done on them. But for now, here is the long-awaited reveal of Kozuki Oden whom the anime had totally not shown prior to episode 960! (This is sarcasm; Toei was COMICALLY bad at hiding him prior to his proper introduction.)

We have received some criticism over the years about our encodes erasing detail. So we're trying something else this time: Aside from masking out the hardsubs in the opening and overlaying CR on the very edges of the frame (like, the leftmost and rightmost four pixels or so) to get rid of the border that's there on the BDs but not CR, this footage is essentially just slightly compressed BD footage, warts and all. And yes, these files are pretty massive. Still less massive than raw BD footage though.

Also, as of this release we're including the character design pictures that were on the BD as extras. Because it's basically no extra effort, they take up very little space (especially compared to the chonk that is the episodes themselves) and we figured surely someone would appreciate having that artwork.
