https://nyaa.si/view/1130356Audio was encodec using Opus 128Kb/s
The command used for encoding is:
av1an -i filename -enc aom -cm vs
lsmash --splitmethod aom
keyframes --reusefirst_pass -xs 9999999 -v \"--bit-depth=10 --cpu-used=4 --end-usage=q --cq-level=19 --frame-parallel=0 --row-mt=0 --enable-cdef=0 --kf-max-dist=256 --tile-columns=0 --tile-rows=0 --lag-in-frames=35 --arnr-strength=4 --arnr-maxframes=15 --frame-boost=1 --enable-fwd-kf=1 --enable-qm=1 --enable-chroma-deltaq=1 --quant-b-adapt=1 --auto-alt-ref=1 \" -a=\"-c:a libopus -b:a 128k\"
The source was 99GiB(It was a blu-ray, a comparable reencode using x264 is about 11GB) .
If you drop frames in scenes were there are lots of movements and you use mpv you can try this
https://www.reddit.com/r/AV1/comments/gjq2mv/drastically_improving_av1_playback/ It should help if you can decode on average at more than 1x speed but drop below that on heavy scene, but if you are always below 1x it won’t help much.
A big thanks to Asenshi and PAS for the fansub and to Prime for the video raws!
