Release Description

It's about time this anime got the love it deserves.

I HEAVILY considered using Yousei-raws as the video source. It has major advantages in certain scenes, but at the cost of being double the size (comparisons below). I updated a lot of the typesetting in the Evetaku subs, but there's still a lot of shitty looking signs I didn't know how to fix/got lazy. I think I removed ~4 signs that did more harm than good, I forgot to keep track of which ones though. And that's about it, I guess.

I would avoid the dub if you're a first time watcher. It will completely ruin certain jokes and the general atmosphere. I also included the cringey live action special from the USA BD, because... well, because I did. I also made some half-assed captions for it.

If you're wondering what subtitles to use heres a mini guide:

• Evetaku: These got the most effort put into them, and are the best if you're taking the show serious or watching for the first time. (has honorifics and mostly good typesetting) I noticed that there are some minor typos with these subs.
• gg: There mostly as alt track, they're heavily localized subtitles which makes for some funny dialogue if you speak American. (I'd say use these if you're rewatching the show and want something different)
• Funimation: I include these because there's no reason not to. (Last resort subtitles for playback issues or translation errors.)
