Torrent Description
TRANSFORMABLE SHINKANSEN ROBOT SHINKALION Z Episode 20 "Awaken! Yamanote Exstationcalibur"
Smat begins to exhibit odd behavior that suggests he may have some kind of computer virus. Wadatsumi makes plans to eliminate Team Shinkalion once and for all. Abuto deals with the consequences of attempting to betray the Teoti.
TECHNICAL NOTE: There are TWO audio tracks to this episode. The post-credits scene uses a snippet of a copyrighted song, as does the Evangelion preview, and so these were muted in the raws. Using a similar technique to what I'm doing with the batch I've been working on for Shinkalion, I have reinserted the songs using the higher quality video but the audio. The default audio track is the broadcast audio. You can hear what they used for the streaming audio by changing the audio channel. I do not recommend this personally but it is there if you want to try it. By the way.
Enjoy, next episode is this year's Evangelion crossover.

SPOILERS FOLLOW . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Q. Who is that mysterious girl in black?! A. That is Maetel, the kind yet mysterious character from the classic 1970s Leiji Matsumoto anime, Galaxy Express 999. In the original, she may or may not be a cyborg. She is the companion of Tetsuro Hoshino on his long journey on the Galaxay Express. She has a sister named Emeraldas who is an infamous space pirate and friend of the legendary Captain Harlock. This version appears to be a lot younger than the one in Galaxy Express. This is apparently Shinkalion's next big secret crossover. Fan speculation is that like Hatsune Miku, she will be the Hayabusa H5 driver.
Q. Where is she? A. The Tsugaru Straits, which separates Japan's main island of Honshu from Hokkaido. She is standing on the Aomori Prefecture side.
Q. What's that song that's playing when Maetel is on screen? A. Tsugaru Strait Winter Scene, a famous "enka" song from 1978, signature song of Sayuri Ishikawa, which tells a tearful tale of a lonely passage on the ferry across the straits and the sad, wintry scene she saw. There is a monument commemorating the popular song on the Tsugaru Straits, which is shown for a moment.
