[MrManager] Megazone 23 Part II - International Edition (1986) BDRemux torrent

This is a supplemental download to my release of Megazone 23 Part II, which can be found here: https://nyaa.si/view/1929773

This is a remux of the "International Edition" of Megazone 23 Part II, which was reconstructed using the HD film scan for the Blu-Ray. This international edition was originally produced by Streamline Pictures and was apparently meant as a resource to help teach English. (Or more accurately, they got funding for the dub under this context.) There's no evidence that this was actually released internationally back in the day, and was apparently only released in Japan.
Also included are SDH subtitles for this dub.



The film starts out with "Present for You", which is an dialog-less alternative ending to Megazone 23 Part I. In fact, this footage was originally commissioned by Carl Macek of Harmony Gold (and later Streamline Pictures) for use in Robotech: The Movie, which contained recycled footage of Megazone 23 and Super Dimension Cavalry Southern Cross. Since the audio track for this footage was originally in English and meant for this otherwise unrelated Robotech movie, a simple narration and some slightly out-of-place music plays on top of it with no sound effects or voices.



After this segment it transitions to Part II, completely dubbed into English. The only difference here is the sex scene is slightly censored, shortening the runtime by about 20 seconds. Otherwise the footage is the same as is used with the regular version of Part II. (My remux of Part II also contains the international edition audio, however the newer ADV dub had to be spliced in for the uncensored sex scene, and the SDH subtitles are empty in that segment.)
