The source quality is mediocre with a 720p native resolution. It has been upscaled by soft algorithm which causes blurry images. Meantime some line art display severe aliasing and ringing. Nevertheless, the primal problem of the source is the ubiquitous banding. We have resorted to descaling and reconstruction, stronger de-banding filter as well as some regular sharpness compensation and self-adaptive de-noising.
