[Team Kienzan] Dragon Ball Z Recut [480p][x264][V2] torrent

Dragon Ball Z Recut is a fan edit of the Dragon Ball Z anime with the goal of aligning it more closely with the manga. We do this by removing filler scenes, shortening padding, and rearranging scenes to match their order in the manga (we also fixed some mistakes from the original show).
Great care is taken through an extensive editing process to ensure that all cuts and edits are seamless. We also aim to preserve the original score from Shunsuke Kikuchi, Japanese broadcast audio, and Japanese vocal performances (In contrast to Dragon Ball Kai).

V2 CHANGELOG

• Massive overall improvements, which includes more advanced editing, seamless cuts, improved music transitions using OSTs, OST filters such as EQing, Low-passing, EQ matching, using higher quality SFX, and including some isolated vocals with UVR.
• Almost 2 hours of filler cut and 8 less episodes compared to V1 (short episodes have been merged).
• Certain scenes (canon and other misc.) that were not present in V1 have been restored.
• Upgraded the audio tracks from Broadcast Audio V3 (used in V1) to V7.
• Added French subtitles.
• Added Latin American Spanish subtitles.
• Added chapters, including a Part A chapter (which is right after the title card in order to avoid spoilers).
• Uses x264/FLAC encoding settings instead of x265/Opus found in V1 (we also aim to look as close to the merge footage as possible, check out this comparison to see for yourself).

Default subtitle track patches:

Warning: If you change the default subtitle track, you will not be able to seed the torrent until you change it back to English, because mkvpropedit will modify the file checksum. To keep seeding, make a copy of the files before applying the patch, and avoid running the patch on files currently being seeded by your torrent client, close the software first.

You can choose between English, French, or Spanish as the default track in your media player.
Note: You must install MKVToolNix first. These patches only work with mkvpropedit.exe.

Place the .bat file in the main folder of the torrent, then run it to patch all .mkv files in the subfolders.

Why is the torrent size so big compared to V1?

We used x264 instead of x265 (better compatibility, less CPU-intensive, but larger file size) and increased both video and audio quality (from Opus to FLAC).

Why didn't you wait for the SoM Color Correction? Now you have to redo everything!

We don't! We planned ahead for this, and saved all our edit files. We just have to replace the source and every edit will be done automatically.

Why was the Latin American Spanish Dub removed if it was already in V1?

The dub needs a new source, full resync, and rework in order to be included into the project. When those are done, it will be added in the future.

How can I add my own Subtitles?

• First, make sure your subtitles are synced with Dragon Box (or any other release that shares the same timing).
• Download all .kdenlive project files here.
• Download the subtitle sync script here and follow the instructions to re-sync your .ass files.
• Edit your subtitles according to the guidelines in this spreadsheet.
• That’s it! You can now either remux the episodes with your .ass files or simply use them as external subtitles.
