This release includes the *Director’s Cut* English subtitles found on subdl.com, synced to one of the available video versions of the drama. The English in these subtitles is slightly above average, but it’s much more accurate and natural to read. I had tried other versions before but dropped them because of poor translation quality.

For comparison, in Episode 1 (this torrent):

In most other subtitle versions, it was translated like this:

> I'm glad that he is to your liking.
> Not only was he to my liking, the only thing that is worthwile for this body, that has been watching over Sungkyunkwan all these years, is to be able to uprear talented people like your son.

The Russian translation included here is also of good quality.
