A journey with Len Beadell as he takes a nostalgic trip back to the areas and roads he surveyed and developed from 1947 to 1963. The Gunbarrel Highway, Sandy Blight Junction Road, The Connie-Sue Highway and the beautiful Anne Beadell Highway are all roads which spell adventure to the outback enthusuast or off-road fan.

Woomera, Mt Leisler, Mt Beadell, Emu Claypan, and the Emu atomic test site are places which Len and his wife Anne share with us. This documentary features extremely remote areas of the Australian Outback and is a rare opportunity to see why Len and Anne escape to the peace of their bush.
