Torrent Description
Complete revamp of the King Crimson (studio) back catalogue. Releases issued in this series include a surround sound mix and in most cases also a new stereo mix. Also included are previously unreleased tracks and alternate takes from the master tapes as well as previous and/or original mixes of the albums. Except the USA live album, which includes a new stereo mix alongside with the old mixes only.
The multitrack tapes were restored from the best possible sources, and then remixed into 5.1 surround sound. Approved by and in collaboration with Robert Fripp.
All releases are available as a standard CD/DVD-A edition (except the CD/DVD-V „USA” live album), packaged in a four panel digipak format in a slipcase, with a booklet including sleeve notes by Robert Fripp and King Crimson biographer Sid Smith, as well as photos and archive material. Limited box set („In The Court of the Crimson King”, „Larks' Tongues In Aspic”) and/or double CD („Larks' Tongues In Aspic”) editions were also released.
