MGMT fait son grand retour ! MGMT revient avec un 4ème album «Little Dark Age» le 9 février 2018, presque 10 ans après la sortie de leur premier album «Oracular Spectacular» en 2007, nommé aux Grammy Awards. Andrew VanWyngarden et Ben Goldwasser, qui forment le groupe à présent mythique MGMT, font leur grand retour 5 ans après leur dernier album éponyme. Dire que ce nouvel opus était attendu est un euphémisme. L’annonce de l’album fait suite à celle d’une première tournée intimiste en 2018 dans des salles iconiques à travers l’Europe. Leur dernière performance au Royaume-Uni remonte à 2014, sur la grande scène de Glastonburry. «Little Dark Age» a été produit par MGMT, Patrick Wimberly (Charlift, Kelela, Blood Orange) et leur collaborateur de longue date Dave Fridmann (Flaming Lips, Spoon, Tame Impala). 10 nouveaux titres imparables et très attendus du duo électro-pop, portés par un premier single « Little Dark Age » sorti en 2017.
