PROTECTiON NOTE:
Image-Line uses RSA2048 for the license encrypting since v12. Every single
Delphi based plugins have RSA Key and they are required to be patched. In 20,
they changed the way to put the key to avoid simple patch and added many
custombombs to the main appplication.

Normal RSA Key: 3,012345abcde114514deadbeef ….

IL Code to put key:
mov word [eax], ‘3,’
add eax, 2
mov byte [eax], ‘0’
add eax, 1
mov dword [eax], ‘1234’
…
If crackers are not good at coding own tools, the patching process would be
very annoying and they need to patch about 190 files (!) by hand.
Next, for custombombs, they decrypt many pre-encrypted strings. If RSA Key
is changed, these are not correctly decrypted and triggers bombs. This is
already appeared in v12 (after we release patches).

To make this working “as it is”:
1. Decrypt pre-encrypted strings (call IL-Data) with IL Key.
2. Encrypt decrypted strings with R2R Key (call R2R-Data).
3. Swap IL-Data and R2R-Data.
Now strings are properly decrypted by R2R key.
In v20, those pre-encrypted things are also put by MOV
above, and the amount of the pre-encrypted stirngs are much more then v12.
Decrypting, Re-Encrypting, and Data-Swapping is not easy like before.
Anyway, the result is clear. But we do not release patch anymore because
developer also can test our patch for their next protection, and not a few
leechers can not have the idea to use patch correctly.
