The Shaggs est un groupe de rock féminin américain des années 1960 composé initialement de trois sœurs (une quatrième les rejoindra par la suite). L'unique album studio du groupe Philosophy of the World est sorti en 1969. Malgré son relatif échec commercial, le groupe est resté localement connu. The Shaggs s'est séparé après la mort d'Austin, leur père, en 1975.
