The Kinks, Londres 1963 blabla... Peut-être le plus anglais des groupes anglais, leur interdiction de tourner aux USA (le plus gros marché) pendant 4 ans (65 - 68) due à leur comportement en 64 les ayant cloués sur leur île. Par chez nous, n' ont jamais vraiment soulevé les foules. Les 4 en 64, prolifiques mais un tantinet brouillon dans leur son. Et préférer Stop Your Sobbing à You Really Got Me n' est pas une faute de gout. L' intégrale studio 1964 aménagé (comprendre sans les demos de titres finalisés, alternate version, remix, single version, live BBC...) pour revenir à l' essentiel dans le mercantilisme ambiant : la vérité brute de l' album.
