Le renouveau celtique (également appelé le Celtic Twilight ou Celtomania) était une variété de mouvements et de tendances aux 19e et 20e siècles qui ont vu un regain d'intérêt pour les aspects de la culture celtique.
Les artistes et les écrivains se sont inspirés des traditions de la littérature gaélique, de la littérature galloise et de ce que l'on appelle «l'art celtique» - ce que les historiens appellent l'art insulaire (le style médiéval ancien de l'Irlande et de la Grande-Bretagne).
Bien que le renouveau ait été complexe et multiforme, se produisant dans de nombreux domaines et dans divers pays du nord-ouest de l'Europe, son incarnation la plus connue est probablement le renouveau littéraire irlandais.
Des écrivains irlandais, dont William Butler Yeats, Lady Gregory, "AE" Russell, Edward Martyn et Edward Plunkett (Lord Dunsany) ont stimulé une nouvelle appréciation de la littérature irlandaise traditionnelle et de la poésie irlandaise à la fin du 19e et au début du 20e siècle.
