THE SPECIALS - [11 Albums] (1979-2019).[FLAC.16Bit-44.1kHz](AXALAR) torrent

Groupe originaire de Coventry, apparu en 1977 en pleine révolution punk, The Specials mené par le claviériste Jerry Dammers
et le chanteur Terry Hall est à l'origine d'un revival ska qui a embrasé la Grande-Bretagne
avec le single « Gangsters » et un premier album homonyme irréprochable, paru dans la foulée en 1979.
Le collectif multi-racial, porteur d'un message humaniste et engagé, éclate après le n°1 « Ghost Town »
et un deuxième album éclectique, More Specials (1980) ouvrant la voie aux carrières de The Special A.K.A.
pour Jerry Dammers, auteur du fameux hymne « Nelson Mandela » (n°9) et de Fun Boy Three puis The Colourfield pour Terry Hall.
L'un et l'autre sont absents de la formation de 1996, avec les membres originaux Neville Staple (chant) et Horace Panter (basse),
qui aboutit à l'album Today's Specials, suivi de Guilty 'til Proved Innocent! (1998), l'album de reprises Skinhead Girl (2000) et Conquering Ruder (2001).
Après de nouvelles réunions en 2008 puis en 2015, le nom subsiste sans John Bradbury et Rico Rodriguez, décédés cette même année.
L'album Encore, qui voit le jour en 2019, comprend pour membres originaux Terry Hall, Lynval Golding et Horace Panter.
