Biographie
YoungBloodZ est un duo de rappeur sudiste originaire d’Atlanta formé de J-Bo (né Jeffrey Ray Grigsby le 4 octobre 1977) et de Sean Paul (né Sean Paul Joseph le 7 mai 1979) qui s’appelle désormais Sean P pour justement qu’on ne le confonde pas avec le jamaicain Sean Paul.

Les deux rappeurs,qui se sont rencontrés au lycée, ont peiné avant de pouvoir sortir le premier album “Against Da Grain” chez Arista en 1999 alors qu’ils étaient signés depuis 1997. Pour leur second album “Drankin Patnaz”, sorti en 2003, ils ont bénéficié de l’apport financier et commercial de Jermaine Dupri, alors à ce moment chez Arista, et qui leur a assuré un disque de platine. Le tube “Damn” produit par Lil’ Jon reste leur plus grand succès. En effet, leur dernier album “Ev’rybody Know Me” n’a pas réussi à atteindre le score qu’avait réalisé le précédent album. Sean P sort un album solo d’ici la fin d’année 2007 tandis que J-Bo sort son album solo en 2008.
