Présentation de l'artiste :

Tangerine Dream est un groupe allemand de musique électronique, créé par Edgar Froese (1944-2015) en 1967. Principalement instrumentale, la musique varie au fil des ans de l'ambiant au rock progressif entre autres. Ils ont aussi composé de nombreuses musiques de films. Les synthétiseurs ne sont pas non plus les seuls instruments utilisés, bien que majoritaires dans l'ensemble. En 2022, le groupe sortira un nouvel album studio en hommage à Edgar Froese et composé selon ses idées tout comme le fut l'excellent 'Quantum Gate' en 2016.








À propos de l'album :

Le 'Tangerine Tree' était un projet de fans mondial qui avait été lancé en décembre 2001 par certains membres de la Tangerine Dream Mailing List. Le but de ce projet était de publier des enregistrements non officiels de Tangerine Dream dans la meilleure qualité sonore possible en utilisant uniquement des bandes maîtresses ou des sources de faible génération de chaque enregistrement de concert. Le matériel source (audience, table de mixage ou enregistrements de radiodiffusion) provenait des collectionneurs TD les plus réputés au monde. La qualité sonore de chaque enregistrement a été améliorée par des personnes considérées comme de véritables experts en remasterisation. Ce projet a fonctionné sur une base strictement non lucrative (c'est pourquoi "ne jamais vendre ni acheter - échanger librement" est indiqué au dos de chaque œuvre).
Le groupe approuvait alors la circulation de ces enregistrements que vous trouverez ici divisés en 5 sections.
Pour cette édition spéciale YGG, les tags des fichiers musicaux sont complets avec pochette incluse et les dossiers contiennent un ou deux 'artworks' (selon le cas) où vous retrouverez non seulement le design créé à l'époque mais aussi les notes diverses rédigées par ces auteurs.



NB : Une erreur de titre s'est glissée dans les up précédents, le volume 20 est bien dans le premier up et non le deuxième.
