Devin
Townsend, est un musicien multi-instrumentiste (entre autres chanteur,
guitariste et claviériste) canadien, exerçant dans différents styles de
heavy metal.
Il mène une carrière solo, mais aussi et surtout avec
ses différents groupes Strapping Young Lad, The Devin Townsend Band (de
2003 à 2006) et le Devin Townsend Project (depuis 2009).
Live in
London 2011 est un album et DVD live de 9 disques du Devin Townsend
Project, sorti le 18 juin 2012 en Europe et le 19 juin 2012 en Amérique
du Nord.
Il comprend le live enregistré en novembre 2011, à partir
des quatre concerts du projet Devin Townsend organisés à Londres, en
Angleterre.
L'idée de la vidéo en direct a été compilée en mars 2011 et détaillée un an plus tard.
