Initial D -project reiwa- torrent

Important: this is a fully Single Audio (Japanese) release, if you want dubs, look elsewhere. Also, every kind of "you should have used that and that for encoding" msgs will be ignored, but if there's an blatant error somewhere, I might do v2 for those. If you don't like something, make your own release instead of barking at me.

Anyways, finally it's here! Welcome to 'Initial D -project reiwa-', aka. Project R. I made this mostly for myself but I decided to share it with you all. The first question must be: What is Project R? This is a more contemporary version of Initial D anime rips, mostly based on latest Blu-rays available (April '26). One day I downloaded almost all versions of Initial D but they weren't up to my standards so I decided to make a version of my own. The biggest NO was the localized intro and outro, I hate those. Also, I know 1080p is a standard nowadays but the earlier Stages looked absolutely awful being upscales.

The BD rips I used on this were the remastered rips by DBD, but them being all 1080p I had to downscale most Stages. I also wanted to use HEVC and OPUS (128kb) to make the files way smaller. And way smaller they went: ~120GB -> 17,1GB!

based on BD:
First Stage - 1080->576p
Second Stage - 1080->576p
Third Stage - 1080->720p
Fourth Stage - 1080->720p
Fifth, Final and Legend trilogy were all good as 1080
Extra Stage 1 - 1080->960x720p

based on DVD:
Extra Stage 2 is the old Tomodachi-Phantom Subs English fansubbed version (348p)

All BD stuff except Extra Stage 1 (which is RAW, no subs whatsoever) & Legend trilogy have retimed English subtitles (I used DarkDream's in the end) Legend trilogy was based on Judas' version but I re-encoded them and removed the English dub and all other subs tracks except full .PGS one.

I didn't include Battle Stages 1-4 at all because a) only 2/4 is available translated and b) I didn't want any more RAWs in.

I also didn't include any extras, Digests 1-4 or 'Project D he no Mukete' special. Oh, and use mpv to watch, seriously.
