Plot Summary

Julien Durras, a strict and sullen geologist, lives with his wife Isabelle and their two children in an isolated country house in Provence called La Maison des Bories. Their rigid, joyless routine is disrupted by the arrival of Carl-Stephane, a young and charming German student who comes to assist Julien with his work.
