COLDSIGHT is a French metalcore band founded in 2006 in Toulon, a town in the south of France. Their influences range from KILLSWITCH ENGAGE to AS I LAY DYING.
The quintet was initially formed of Niko (Drums) and Greg (Bass), two old mates from high school, joined by Zoy (Vocals) at the end of 2006.
Unsatisfied of their line up at the time, the band acquired Seb (Guitar) and Ton’s (Guitar) at the end of 2007 ; met during gigs, the band and them shared the same passion & objectives, so their integration went easy as natural. 2008 marked a turning point in the band’s evolution thanks to several stage experiences in France and abroad, where the band received an enthusiastic welcome from the audience.
In early 2009, COLDSIGHT took a break from the stage in order to fully focus on the writing of their debut record called “Until Your Last Breath”.
In may 2009, the band recorded its first album at the Dome Studio with David et Franck Potvin (LYZANXIA, ONE WAY MIRROR and PHAZE I) with whom they tied strong friendly, musical and professional links. In november 2009, the quintet signed with the Swiss tour/booker Vincent Devaud from "The Best of Underground" to book Coldsight in France, Austria, Italy and Switzerland to begin with.
In 2010, the band signed with CustomCore / Season of Mist to handle their record's distribution, due Oct. 22nd.
