Up in the mountains of Andalucia, Staffe nurses himself back from the brink of death.

On a visit to Almeria, Staffe is shown a body that has been found buried in an old greenhouse by the Mediterranean- apparently a drug deal gone wrong. Gradually, Staffe is drawn into the case.
