Компания Northern Softworks выпустила новую версию утилиты Mountain Lion Cache Cleaner, предлагающий пользователю широкий выбор инструментов для настройки операционной системы Mac OS X. Mountain Lion Cache Cleaner позволяет выполнить настройки для более комфортной работы в Mac OS X с помощью простого и удобного интерфейса, увеличить быстродействие системы посредством оптимизации сетевых соединений и настройки кэширования файлов. Программа позволяет создавать RAM-диски, удалять дублирующиеся или «мертвые» объекты автозагрузки (Login items), удалять и перестраивать метаданные Spotlight, восстанавливать права доступа к файлам (permissions), перестраивать базу данных LaunchServices и др.
