Norwegian act P:O:B was formed in 2002 by Johannes Stole (vocals) and Torfinn Sirnes (guitars), initially calling themselves Pedestrians of Blue. A demo was recorded the same year and sent out to various labels, but when noone wanted to sign them they decided to continue on their own. They set up their own label FishFarm Records, and with Rudolf Fredly (bass) and Harald Levang (drums) added to the line-up they started working on more material.

2005 saw them release the EP The Second Monologue to a generally positive reception. Following this production the band decided that thir choice of moniker might not be the best, and shortened it to P:O:B. And their full length debut album was issued using this name in June of 2007.

While this production was given lots of atention worldwide, the band still felt that their band name wasn't the best. Due to that they disbanded P:O:B in 2008, and decided to continue their career under the band name Slaves to Fashion.
