В поддержку голодающих Эфиопии и Судана лидер группы Boomtown Rats Боб Гелдоф собрал практически всех именитых поп и рок музыкантов того периода самых разных жанров (от Мадонны до Джудас Прист). 13 июля 1985 года концерт состоялся параллельно на двух сценах - на стадионе Уэмбли в Лондоне и на стадионе JFK в Филадельфии. 10 часов феерических выступлений самых лучших музыкантов.
