Young pianist/composer Jef Neve has become a prominent figure in his homeland Belgium and his reputation is rapidly spreading to the rest of the world.
His two first albums « Blue Saga » and « It’s Gone » were best selling jazz album in Belgium and received great reviews abroad. - “From Belgium comes Jef Neve, an explosively gifted young pianist whose second album, It's Gone, is without question one of the best I've heard in 2005.” (AllAboutJazz.com)

Jef Neve composed his first Piano Concerto during 2007/08, which was performed in May 2009 with the Brussels Philharmonic conducted by Michel Tabachnik for sold out halls and standing ovations.
He wrote the sound-tracks for two films by director Felix Van Groeningen, of which the recent « The Misfortunates » received several prizes at filmfestivals in Cannes, New York and Toronto. The soundtracks were released on Universal Music Belgium in Nov 2009.

The new album of the Jef Neve Trio «Imaginary Road » has been released in September 2010 on Universal Music and international releases the following months. Together with his long time companion Teun Verbruggen on drums, and a new fabulous bassplayer, Ruben Samama, from Dutch origin but currently living in New York. The release concerts in six main venues in Belgium and Luxemburg as well as in Canada and in Amsterdam/Bimhuis have left both public and critics raving. The Trio will be presenting the album in Australia (Oct/Nov), in Paris/France 2 days at the Duc des Lombards (March 2011), in Germany Burghausen Festival and Trier (march 2011), etc..
