Each DVD consists of four original 30 minute episodes of Rockpalast.
They nearly all follow the same format,the featured artist with one song then a German presenter with a potted biography of the band.
Then back to the band for another three or four tracks,
After that there is a special feature on a different musician or band.
I don't quite know how these and the full concert versions were broadcast in relation to each other.
These were re-broadcast one saturday night/sunday morning in the 1990's (all 12 episodes)
